Everyone says it, but it hasn’t lost any validity through repeated use, steel is real. Period.

Aluminum is a great platform for building full suspension with its inherent stiffness, but that comes at the expense of ride comfort in rigid frames. Many bikes claim to “ride like a steel frame”, but only steel really does.

We use tubes from Columbus, True Temper, Dedacciai, and Reynolds. Tube sets will be mixed where design requirements demand. For instance, Columbus makes an outstanding externally butted seat tube, which works well with True Temper over-sized down tubes on 29ers. We will use the tubes required to create the frame you need.

On road and cyclocross frames, Carbon fiber rear ends can add a measure of stiffness and vibration isolation to a frame.

Titanium frames are planned for the future.
